SojournInNYC is the alias of street and stencil artist Wenzel Trilby from New Zealand.

SojournInNYC started off as a traditional artist, mainly doing street photography and surreal painting. Blending these artistic skills with srong interests in politics, in-equality, poverty, HIV etc, resulted in stencils being sprayed on thin paper and pasted around public spaces.

Lately, he sprayed on canvas, wood, records and textiles, however, his focus remains using public spaces as art gallery.

All stencils displayed on this page are his design, hand cut and sprayed onto different media.
